It's time for my favorite photos from this past month!
I spent NYE at one of my favorite spots for live music, The Village Underground. My friends and I ended up with a corner table and a ton of space to dance in, even though the rest of the club was crowded. The band's performance is always fantastic!
The Empire State Building remained festive well into January and was lit up with green and red lights.
When I was home, my mom introduced me to Marley Coffee. Interestingly enough, I spotted it in my local Fairway upon my return!
Traveling again. Morning view from my hotel in PA.
I've gotten the decorating bug again. I basically stopped decorating my apartment about 2 months after moving in almost 2 years ago. I picked up a few pieces to hang in my living room. I am obsessed with the "Eat Well Travel Often" painting. It's basically what I want to do all the time.
Snow. You're pretty, but noooo....
Is it really almost that time again?
My coffee corner. Not sure if I'll keep it like this, but it works for now.
I'm basically fan-girling over here like a clown. Tracy Shutterbean commented on my instagram post! Love her!
I spelled my name twice for the Starbucks lady. The second time, she said "Oh! Ellen!" I didn't bother to correct her.
My friend and I went ice skating for the first time in years at Chelsea Piers!
This was my happy face before I face-planted twice on the ice. Hard.
Post ice-skating stroll through Chelsea Market.
Late lunch at Friedman's Lunch. The chilaquiles were out of this world!
Did you know that Michael's has the bomb artificial flower selection? I used to hate articifial flowers but these art actually pretty good quality.
This is a drinking jar.
Girls night out at Umami Burger. I can't with this Manly burger. Just imagine a cheeseburger covered with chunks of bacon and onion strings on top. Stahhhhhp.
In case you are unaware, I have a black-and-white pattern problem.
A visit to BarBacon is not complete without Lobster Bacon Mac and Cheese. It's exactly what it sounds like. I ate it all without a second thought.
