Livin' The Life 11/30/15

Happy Thanksgiving, America!  Hang tight to your stockings now!  October and November have been very busy months for me and I took a ton of photos.  Here's the roundup!

Empire State living on a clear day

French shortrib meal to catch up with good friends.

I am obsessed with this reflection.

I'm a huge Steeler fan (as you may know).  The "Steelers in Hoboken" crew take an annual picture to commemorate each season.  Here's this year's photo!

The bubbles!

Running errands, I had to stop and take a pic of this wave.  I love how the sunrise puts the wave in shadow.

I made a healthy bowl thing the other day.  Quinoa, broccoli, and avocado for the win!

I went to see Marc Broussard at City Winery a few weeks ago.  If you have the chance to see him live, DO IT!  Spectacular voice!  I could listen to him all day.

I made Trader Joe's' pumpkin bread from a box, but I jazzed it up with chocolate chips.  As one should.

My first time at Carnegie Hall...

...followed by a burger and fries at Burger Joint.

Driving to Pittsburgh for a fun weekend and a Steeler game!  Don't drive and take pictures.  Don't be like me.

The PPG Building in downtown Pittsburgh is the best!  It was also featured in the Inspector Gadget movie and that is pretty much one of my all-time favorite cartoons.

We passed Primanti Bros!  I love these sandwiches but sadly did not have any while I was in town.

Sunset and Heinz Field view from the hotel.

Can we discuss the Heinz ketchup options in Pittsburgh?  Yes, please to each of them.

Can you spot me?

Ugh.  I can't stand all the fall goodness in this shot.  Boots, leaves, plaid, scarf.  Yes!

Roaming around my college campus.  In the College of Fine Arts building, staring up at the ceiling.

Exploring hidden places on campus.

We are officially on the food truck bandwagon.

Playing around with selfies...which I hardly ever take!

We stopped at our favorite dinosaur, Dippy!  No, really, his name is Dippy.  Last year he sported a Steelers scarf.  This year, he is into orange.

Broke into the ketchups so we could consume them with the O french fries.

Game Day at Heinz Field!

We are the classiest Steelers fans out here!

Waving those towels!

I miss these bridges

Second selfie of the trip!

Saw my friend Marcy perform in Cinderella, by Company XIV.  That show has ended but she's now in the Nutcracker Rouge show!

A super tasty pecan dessert is coming to the blog soon!

I hardly ever buy lunch at work because, hello...food blogger over here!  But last week I picked up a gyro plate at a local Greek restaurant and it was amazing!

Caught up with old college friends over Mexican food and a frozen pomegranate margarita

The beautiful Thanksgiving spread at my friend's family home in New Jersey.
